We are all Pilgrims, we are all on a journey towards Gods calling for our lives and it is easy to get side tacked. That is why we need to recalibrate and realign our life priorities around God’s path for us.
We are going to spend the month of January exploring the rhythms God set up in the old testament to call our attention back to Him. Being Summer what better way to do this by looking at Jewish pilgrimage festivals and how they are relevant in our own lives today. So join us for this January Series for a fresh take on traditions we take for granted and recalebrate for 2021.
Deuteronomy 16:14-16
14 Be joyful at your festival—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites, the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns.15 For seven days celebrate the festival to the LORD your God at the place the LORD will choose. For the LORD your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.16 Three times a year all your men must appear before the LORD your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the LORD empty-handed.
