What a day. I think what stood out at the Big Day Out, is that it’s what we created together that made the day truly bueatiful. Sure, the weather was amazing – the site suited us so well, the program was nice, but I think what people will be taking away on the Big Day Out is actually the space between us. As we share life together and step beyond our normal relationships and make space for our Christian family, there’s something really precious.
A couple of details though:
The Nepalese tore shreds off the ‘World’ team in the football with a 9:1 win.
Lizzie stole the show again with her cover of the Moana song – How far I’ll go.
The cooks turned out an amazing dinner again (Thanks Janine, Anne, Jan, Krish, Jivan and team). Krish, those veggies were great.
Matt Sharples shared a heart-felt message encouraging us to live whole-heartedly for the Kingdom – to speak into the lives of those around us.
Anyway – thanks everyone for what we were able to create together. It was beautiful.
