Being a Baptist church means that we are committed to the idea that we are all on the journey of faith together, and there are no experts with all of the answers.
The way this works out in practise is that we make our big decisions together at church meetings, with those who have committed to the church through membership having the ability to vote at those meetings.
The church meeting appoints Trustees who are responsible for church governance and strategic direction, and appoints Elders who are responsible for the spiritual and pastoral oversight of the church.
The church meeting also appoints the Pastor who oversees the church on a day to day basis, and members of the Management team who oversee the Administration of the church.
